Oh yes! As mom and I told each other after we were sfely home, it could have been a lot worse. One poor guy was trapped in Detroit because JFK was flooded but thanks to all the cancellations, they weren't pulling any baggage. So they were routing this guy on to his destination (somewhere in the States, then on to London, and then further off from there) today and they'd send his luggage when they could. They figured it would arrive on Monday or Tuesday. Meanwhile, this guy has to find a hotel or stay in the terminal and he has no luggage at all. Not even a carry on!
