Writings and Work
In accordance with [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com], I'm cleaning out my garage. My list of fics on the go is just far too long so I am putting my nose to the grindstone and finishing a few of them up. I hope to have at least one done by the end of the weekend (all of them would be fantastic, but I won't delude myself). I've cleaned out my Palm of everything but the working fics/chapters and that's made the list a bit less overwhelming, so it's a start.
So on the immediate plate are:
Vignettes (Prompt 7, Days)
Life After Death, Chapter 8
Metamorphosis, Chapter 8
Return to Darkness, Chapter 5
Wayward Martian's Horror/Mystery Fic
Puss In Boots (a Smokescreen & Swindle fic - in response to the Random Title Thread of the Cell comment posted by [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com])
It seems like a lot, but they're all about half-way done. I've just been distracted by various shinies, including the [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] Valentine's Challenge and the Ratchet/Sparkplug fic from the Cell's Pairing Orphanage thread (don't worry Oasis and Darkfire Blade, I haven't forgotten, I just don't quite know where to start just yet).
Also, I have just learned that I get a paid day off work tomorrow, so I'll spend it writing (hopefully). Apparently, there's some kind of a conference going on on the main floor tomorrow, so all non essential personel have been asked to stay home. And since my agency has a fabulous contract with the Government, I get paid. The contact states that if I am willing to work, but cannot through no fault of my own (ie. the building is closed), I get paid for a full day's work. The last time this happened was during the Great Power Outage, and the government argued the point. But then the three largest agencies threatened a Breach of Contract suit and no more Temps to the Government ever, and suddenly we all got paid.
Anyway, back to being a Quality Assurrance Specialist ... *sigh* even that title doesn't make it sound glamourous.

Ohh Wayward's Horror/Mystery fic challenge seems interesting. I've given thought to it but...I'll have to see, and there's not much time left eek!
