There are lots of cats who get along famously with dogs.
My three Birmans adore our dog. Tika treats him like a big brother and the boys are always playing with him. In fact, we think that Keegan (our middle child) thinks he's a dog. It helps that Huntly is a herder with a den mother personality. He seems to think that the cats are his flock or his puppies, we're not entirely sure :)
