I think it just surprises me, because I don't really have any OTP FOREVERs, so that shouldn't stop me from liking it more. I'll go along with most anything as long as it's written coherently and has the characters behaving in a way that I believe to be in-character, and neither of them strike me as being out of character here (and it seems very rare can I say that about any Prowl/whoever story because I keep finding Prowl being - in my opinion - too ... I don't know, fluffy, or something. "Fluffy" Prowl is the new "Extreme Anger Management Problems" Ratchet? Er, sorry. I am stopping now before I find myself going off on a largely-unrelated rant).
And aren't people still reacting like that to Prowl/Jazz? ;)
