No need to feel like a hypocrite. It's a valid point. I think that when any pairing is written badly it's painful, but when they're written well it can be a joy to read. Especially when the characters are as hard to write together believably as Prowl and Jazz are.
And no worries on the wording. Something's off is something to work on and it's good to know. :)
