Done ... sort of
26 April 2005 22:30Well, the rooms are all done, except the brother's room, and who cares about that. I've also emptied the freezer, and tomorrow I clean the refrigerator.
Of course, I have my language testing in the morning. I can't believe thay are having me take an english test. I guess they are going by the name only. So, testing from 8:30 to 11:00, then home to get 'fridge done. Then, I'll unplug and pack the electronics, pack up the remainders, and we get the key to the new place at 5:30. Then the fun begins. I will then begin to transport stuff to the house, mainly my plants and the liquor cabinet.
Busy day ahead.
By the way, the couches will be left outside on Thursday. Anyone who wants them is welcome to have them. There is no guarantee that the neighbours will not get them first, so come early. Otherwise we'll have them hauled off to the dump.
Apparently, our perfectly good couches aren't good enough for the Salvation Army, the shelters, or St. Vincent de Paul. Apparently the fact that the colour is out dated and the coushions don't match the back makes them innappropriate for those might really need them. Who knows.
