10 May 2007 12:01Once again my cats have spooked my poor neighbour.
See, last fall, my neighbour (a nice Vietnamese gentleman by the name of Bing) was working on his deck. He was in the process of enclosing the lower section to create a storage shed. When he looked up, all three of my babies are hanging off my deck, staring at him. They continued to watch every move that he made until he completed his work and went back inside.
The next day he ran into my mom outside and said: “You have three cats. They were watching me!”
Fast forward to yesterday evening. We haven't seen Bing int he back yard or on his deck since the incident last fall. Now, however, he comes out to fertilize his lawn, and within seconds the cats were out and staring at him. You could just see their thoughts ont heir little faces. “Oh look! He's back to entertain us with work!” Every time I looke dup from my dinner, Bing was watching the cats, looking decidedly nervous.
Now I don't know if he's afraid of cats, or if it's a cultural thing, or if my babies are particularly spooky, but the poor man cannot leave his house without being watched by my three. It's rather bizzare.
