Ramblings ...

This weekend we pulled out the harnesses and brought my three babies out into the grass. They were all so good! There was no fighting and no complaining. They were a bit upset that we had put two ton weights on their backs, but once they realized they were getting grass they were happy. Thankfully the birds were smart enough to stay away while the cats were out. I don't think that Logan would know what to do with a bird if he caught one, but Keegan and Tika would certainly kill it. And judging my Tika's history with insects, I think she would make the experience as prolonged and as painful as possible.

I didn't end up getting as much done as I would have liked (what with feeling under the weather on Sunday), but I did get some shopping done on Saturday and picked up the cutest boustier and a pair of work pants. I had hoped to make a cherry/peach/apricot pie on Saturday afternoon but I was too tired for anything. I'll try again this weekend. The three fruits have such short growing season in Ottawa that I usually only get to make it once a year.

I think I'll cut the rest, 'cause it's a bit of a teal deer.
