(no subject)

Thanksgiving this year was ... off. Both my mother and I were sick on Saturday so we spent all of Sunday preparing for Thanksgiving dinner and cleaning house, which left us feeling exhausted and irritable. Monday was spent sick. I won't go into details, but it wasn't pretty. I'm still not feeling 100%, but since my office will be overrun with sheep if I take a day off, I'm trying to grin and bear it.

The one good thing about the weekend, though, is that I've finally convinced my mom that we don't need a 25 pound turkey to feed six people. She claims that next year she'll only get a 14 pounder. I think that I'll believe that when I see it.
