Writing update
12 August 2014 00:02Well I didn't get as much done in July as I would have liked, but I got some things written and that's what's important. I'm even happy with Rooftop Confessions, so that's even more important than the writing, since I honestly believe that I'm my own worst critic and I am constantly sabotaging myself. I also have the next chapter of Polyhex written. Maybe. I still have to go over it and see how it fits in with what's to come. But I've gotten over the hump that was causing me so much difficulty. We'll see if it gets easier now that the last assassination is written and I have a juicy little riot and near-death scene to fix up.
I have also gone back to a very old story of mine - Return to Darkness. It's a 2003-series TMNT story where I cross TMNT with HP Lovecraft. That one has been on hold for far longer than I want to remember, so getting back to that one is a good thing.

And, of course, Polyhex. I will be so very glad when that story is over and done with.
And through all of the fic, I'm also still working on my original novel, which will be a whole lot easier once I set on a single setting and stop trying to cram every cool concept into one setting -- though right now Steampunk meets Shadowrun and have the Lovecraftian Circle's bastard lovechild is pretty much winning.
