A/N: Well, it took over two years, but I finally managed to write the next chapter of this piece. The rest of it is here on A03. I'm not sure if I'm quite happy with this yet, since it is a 4k info dump, but I'm going to move onto the next chapter and come back to this before I officially post it to the Archive ... I want to be sure that I have a buffer this time so that I'm not two years between updates again. Baby steps of getting back into writing, I suppose. A massive 4K baby step ...

Avengers: Infinity War Thoughts

So, full disclosure, I had this movie vastly spoiled for me so that might be clouding my judgement. I honestly found the movie ... boring. Oh yeah, there was a lot going on, but it was all noise and no substance. It was like the Russos didn't watch any of the previous movies save their own. The inconsistencies were rampant and the plot holes were large enough to drive a mack truck through.

Thor seemingly forgot that he is the god of Thunder not hammers, Bruce remembered things from when he was Hulk, Peter's strength was halved, and just .... look all of the previous character growth was just gone. And the fact that EVERYTHING will be retconned in the next movie just makes it all so very pointless.
