I will admit, I do kind of regret dropping out of the challenge. There was nothing for it, what with the events life threw at me. There was no way I was going to be able to finish my entry in time and still have it have a satisfactory ending. But that doesn't change the fact that I wish I could have seen what art would have been created to go along with it.
Part of me is tempted to say maybe next time, but this is the second time I have been in a Big Bang and the second time I have had to drop out because I wasn't going to be able to finish. ... Of course if it hadn't been for the accident and the family illness I think I might have been able to get it done this time. So who knows?
I am still working on it. I have the first chapter re-drafted and I'm working on the second. I really do like what I've come up with and I'm hoping others will too. My biggest concern is that no one will read it given that I'm focused on two really rare pairings in a corner of the fandom I'm not sure that many people are playing with -- Kind of hard to tell with the Wings Universe doesn't really have a tag. But I feel that way before I post all my fics and I'm proven wrong every time by the small handful of readers I have. This will be no different.
I just have to stop myself from posting anything until I'm actually done. Maybe not edited but certainly drafted.
