Oh the airlines are just as bad as the travel sites. The last flight I booked cost me 440 dollars and 100 of that was for surcharges, fees, and taxes. It really is verging on obscene ...

Oh I know! Check this out. To fly from here to Cinnie right now is 600 bucks. But if I fly from here to Detroit with a layover in CINCINATTI it's only 250 bucks! WTF is wrong with the people that plan these flights!? I'm glad I got my ticket back two months ago.

Oh, as am I! Not only have the fares gone through the roof, but the planners are out of their minds too!

The flight I'm on now is fully booked with a layover in Chicago O'Hare. The new flight they've put in to take the overload only has a half hour layover and requires the passengers change terminals. Yeah, that was thought through well. ... As it is, I'm worried that my hour layover won't be enough since I have to collect my luggage and recheck it when I get into the States ... Thankfully I got my US passport back the other day so it might be easier to travel as a citizen than as a foreigner.
