In your own space, talk about your Happy Place—the things that give you joy, calms you or keeps you sane.
My happy place is somewhere I can't often get to. Truly, I am at my happiest and my most calm sunbathing by a pool or by the ocean. I wear pretty much 1 million SPF so there's almost no chance of a tan, but just lying there in the sun's rays with the occasional dip into a salt-water pool or the ocean and everything seems better. Apparently I am part Crocodilia! Of course, I live in Canada, so I don't get a lot of that. Maybe one day Canada will take the Turks and Caicos up on their offer. Or I'll win the lottery and move somewhere warm.
The next best thing is the shower. Just scalding hot water pounding down on me. It washes away all of my sins and makes me feel new again. Plus I get my best ideas while there.
