Day 3

In your own space, share a favorite piece of original canon (a TV episode, a song, a favorite interview, a book, a scene from a movie, etc) and explain why you love it so much.

This wasn't an interview or anything like that. It was an Instagram post. Lady Gaga posting a picture of herself without makeup on. There are several, actually, but this was the first one that I saw and it was ... refreshing. She had just woken up. She was beyond pale and tired looking and it was clearly her laid out bare for the world to see. This was the first time that I recall seeing a celebrity purposefully putting herself out there bare faced (not in a tabloid that I totally do not trust). All the other shots were of women claiming to be makeup free but clearly wearing a "natural" look.

Anyway, I found the whole thing very refreshing and more than a little heartening. It made me feel better about myself. *shrug*
