So, here are a few other recommendations of really good stories for you to read:
Conundrum by iamstoryteller - Captain Marvel just joined the Justice League. Batman makes a distressing discovery. - I love me some Captain Marvel (no I won't call him Shazam!) and I particularly love it when the writer remembers that he's still a child, no matter what the Powers have granted him. This story really covers the idea well, and especially the potential reactions of certain League members.
Primes and Protectors by NKfloofiepoof - Onslaught reflects on himself, his comrades, and the war itself while playing footsie. - In my mind Soundwave and Onslaught just work together. Maybe it's because I RPed half the relationship once, or maybe it's because the characters really have a lot of potential together. This particular story is short, sweet, and full of all of that wonderful relationship potential.
Thoughts of an Endless Night Time Sky by akamine_chan - The sun's setting, and there's a flurry of activity as everyone rushes home. It's getting late. The light's just about gone and the last door slams shut, echoing down the empty Street. It's almost dark, but everyone is behind locked doors and shuttered windows. - Akamine_Chan already posted this one, and many people (including myself) have gushed about it. I figure there's no such thing as too much gushing. Sesame Street Horror. Seriously, 'nuff said. It's terror in an unexpected place and that makes it all the more wonderful.
Exclusive by copperbadge - Heroes In Manhattan: From Captain America's Hidden Talents To The Truth About The Hulk, We Debunk The Myths And Expose The Daily Lives Of The Avengers. - It's hard to discuss this one without giving away the punch line, but I'll give it a try anyways. A certain young reporter/photojournalist has been given the once in a lifetime opportunity to see the Avengers on their home turf and acting like normal people. This story is that reporter's article.
