This weekend was ... interesting ....

I didn't sleep well on Friday night. I slept, just not well. I kept waking up to find my eldest and my youngest camped out on my chest and abdomen. One wouldn't have been so bad, but Tika is eight pounds and Logan is nine pounds. I'd kick them off and before I knew it I was waking up with dreams of being smothered. So I kick them off again, roll onto my front and go back to sleep. Once again, I dream of being smothered and wake up to find Logan on my back and Tika curled up around my head. Finally I've had enough. I pick them up, toss them into the hall, and close the door. Then they wake me by trying to claw the door open, and now they're getting help from Keegan. ... My babies were then caged in the basement, but by then it was too late, and Logan started screaming. Have you ever heard a cat scream? Yes, they can do it. Logan proved that on Friday night.

Saturday was long and busy. I'm trying to finish an afghan so I can start up a commission for my mom. The two of braved the Wal-Mart to purchase her yarn and I picked up my first ever Transformer toy. It's an Energon Smokescreen. I never has Transformers as a child, even though I was a huge fan even then, because little girls didn't play with cars. My brother had them but he threw them out while I was at university. So, now that I'm an adult (yes, I know I've been one for a while) I'm starting the collection that I always wanted. Saturday night my mother, aunt, and I had dinner out and saw "Casino Royale". And, of course when we got home I was too tired to sleep.

I was so exhausted come Sunday that I didn't trust myself to drive so I didn't get to go see a friend of mine. I was going to sleep the day away but realized that if I did I wouldn't sleep at night, so I stayed up and crocheted and started betaing a piece for a friend and went to bed early filled with sleeping pills.
