wyntir_knightSo today I went to the bank to get some money changed to American. This weekend I'm heading down to New Haven, Connecticut to celebrate my god-grandmother's sixtieth wedding anniversary. We head out via Air Canada Tango Plus tomorrow morning at 9am. (which means crap seats on a crap plane ... even calling the airline Air Jazz couldn't make it better. A two hour layover in T.O. and then a quick hop down to Connecticut.
So anyways, I go to get some American currency so that I can buy some toys while I'm down there and I'm amazed by what the teller hands me. What have you people done to your money? Look at all the colours! But wait, didn't you guys make fun of us Canadians when started with the coloured money? I seem to recall you calling it Monopoly Money. And now look at this. Your money is ever faker looking than ours is!
Finally! The plan is coming to fruition! First we sent you our actors and musicians! --- Uhm, just try to ignore Bill Shatner and Celine Dion -- And now we have you using our Monopoly Money! Soon you will switch to metric and put the letter u is all the words it belongs in! Yesssssss! Soon you will all say "Eh?" and ask for Double-Doubles and proudly wear toques. You will happily listen to Stompin' Tom Connor and you will eat and enjoy poutine (not poutain please, though hey, if that's your kink then so be it).
... I think I may need to get some sleep ...

I think the only one that hasn't been remade is the $1 for the US. Hell, we thought it was fake when it first came out. :p
Anywho, have fun when you go down there. And as for us saying "Eh" and eating whatever that is that you mentioned...nah :p
Least not down south. In Mississippi the only one's who say "Eh" are the hockey players...and we've got them saying "Ya'll" now :)
