The future of Metamorphosis

I've been thinking about Metamorphosis and I've realized that it may not be working in the way that I have it set out. I had originally thought that it would be cool to write a story in this format, of three connected tales told in one story. But I'm beginnign to wonder if the jumping about is confusing for the reader. So I'm turning to you all for your opinions.

Hmm I like the idea of three different but connected story-lines in one. It's nice to see how they weave to and fro w/o having to switch do different stories as an interruption.

Stories have a tendancy to start running with themselves, don't they?
