wyntir_knightI had my second quilting course tonight. It went very well indeed. My squares are sewn together into a big square and the instructor showed me how to square it off and add the borders. I'm hoping to have that all done by the next class (on the 26th) so that she can show me how to attach the batting and backing and how to hand-quilt the piece.
I also purchased tha fabric for my next piece. It's for a one-day course (on the 29th) on how to make a "focus fabric" quilt. It's made up of two types of squares. One is made of the focus fabric and the others are made of four strips of complementary fabric. ... I'll post a picture once I get the fabric cut.
