More on the Inspector

I'd like to think the best of people. I'd like to think that the world is not populated with morons. But there are days when I just want to take a shotgun up the bell tower! There are days when I fully believe in the sterilization of the stupid for the sake of humanity! This 'building inspector' needs to be shot!

First the tank was not leaking, and now the flashing on the chimney does not need to be replaced.

I was hoping that this jerk was just incompetent, but now I'm sure that this is a con. What did these assholes think we'd do? "Oh, sure, we'll take the money off the price of the house and we won't bother to get these major problems fixed. We'll just live in the house 'till April with a leaving roof and leaking oil tank."

Do I look like some kind of in-bred, gormless, Ozark hick? I'd like to think that I don't have anyone that stupid in my bloodline.

I am just glad that we didn't have to pay the building inspector, it was the buyers who allegedly paid him.

And I'm glad I'm stable enough to ignore the little voice that says kill.

And we'll be contacting whoever regulates this, and maybe pressing fraud charges. Problem is, after four attempts the realtor still can't get a copy of the inspection report.

Someone needs to be caused much social and financial pain for this one. ... As if we don't have enough stress.
