True Ramblings

I have decided to take the next two weeks off. I am taking a much needed vacation. Well sort-of vacation. I still have alot of unpacking to do. I have started the process of bringing my books upstairs, and it is quite a process. I had forcotten just how many books had been put into storage in preparation for the house showings.

We had decided to put all the potentially offensive or disturbing books into storage. So all of my occult books, my book on the history of torture, my book on the psychology of the fear of live burial, and my copy of The Prince. And all of my bibles. ... Now I have to find a place for all of them.

I do believe I will be making a list of all of my books. That meme that when around a while back got me curious. It will also let me know what I own, so that I don't double up when I end up putting things into storage. It will probably be my fiction books that will end up in storage. Non-Fiction has been appealing much more to me lately.

I have three on the go at the moment, so that gives me an idea of where my tastes are heading right now. I feel like a student, only now I'm reading because I want to, rather than having to. Funny how we change with age.

Maybe once I'm done with the books I'll do that same with my movies, though I have much fewer of those (and most of those bizzare old films).
