The world is a strange place ...

I got home from seeing Feli and TrippingPossum downtown, just pulling into my place, when one of the security guys came buy. Nice guy, he once stopped my mom from trespassing on our lot as the house was being built. He remembered us from then, and often stopped to chat, or just waved as we passed.

Today, he stops as I pull in, and we get to talking. It turns out that tonight is his last night, so he got up the courage to ask me for permission to call me some time. He said that he open drove by the house to see if I was there, to make sure my car was safe, to try and build up the courage to ask for my number. It was sweet. As we shook hands he turned the shake into a very blushing hand kiss.

Its funny how the world works sometimes ...
