I am a happy, bouncy anthropology geek!

I just got back from picking up the latest National Geographic and Archaeology magazines and I am thrilled beyond words! Not only are the cover stories on the Maya and the founding of Rome (respectively), but I have just learned that I can finally get a subscition to Archaeology in Canada. For the longest time you could only get it shipped to the States, but now I can get it shipped here. Now, mind you it will cost me about $30 Canadian for six issues (rather than the $15 the Americans are paying, damn shipping costs), but it's a damn sight better than the $42 I'm paying now.

I think that as soon as I hear about this job (god I hope I get this job) I'll place the subscription.
