Challenge #10
In your own space, talk About A Creator/Someone Who Inspired You.
There are some fanfic authors who I really look forward to reading and they do inspire me. These are people who are just so good or so original. They've made me cry, they've made me come back to their stories again and again, and their works have even worked their way into my own writing - be it being inspired by their characterizations or borrowing their headcanons. These are people who remind me that fanfic writing is real writing and is just as good as (if not better than) published writing. And I aspire to be even a quarter as good as these people.
So, these authors in no particular order:
Pipermca is a writer in the Transformers fandom. Their work is just so beautiful and has genuinely made me cry at times and there are even a few of their works that I have trouble going back to because they are just so beautiful and tragic and heart-wrenching.
Kaelma is a writer in the Fallout 4 fandom. Their work is a beautiful combination of Fallout 4 and Sherlock Holmes and they have succeeded in writing a walk-through fic that doesn't feel in any way like one.
Copperbadge is someone who needs no introduction, really. He's part of the MCU fandom and I'm pretty sure that he's influenced a whole lot of the writing out there. Honestly, between him and Scifigrl47 I'm not entirely sure how much of my interpretations and characterizations of MCU characters are from the canon and how much is from them.
