6. Your 5 senses right now
I assume they want more than the obvious so ...
- I feel the cold of the day even in my office -- it's -22 out there. That's -8 in Fahrenheit for those using that.
- I can states the wonders of my coffee. Hmmmmm coffeeeeee......
- I can see the green and blue and taupe walls of my very empty office. Why am I here again? Oh yes, I like getting paid for work.
- I can smell the ozony tang of my printer as it prints off tests for next week.
- I can hear a small child running around the office like a drunken little monkey. Apparently he (or she) is having far too much fun playing hide and seek in the empty cubicles.
7. Your pet hates
- I have a very, very, unbelievably low tolerances for the slurping of food and drink.
- People riding my ass in the car. I will no drive faster, stop trying to hump my SUV! Scout isn't interested!
- Those con artists who think that they can con me into getting my air ducts cleaned or want me to believe that Sunlife now has door to door sales people. Seriously? If you're going to pull a scam at least be original about it! Put in some effort! ... I think that my inner-Smokescreen is more offended by this than I am.
- People who refuse to discipline their kids and then wonder why they have entitled little shits on their hands. Seriously! Be a damned parent! It's a child you produced! Not a turd you can ignore!
- Slut-shaming. Seriously, a guy dates 30 girls and he gets a high five, but a girl dates 3 guys and she's a slut? No! Bad! No cookie! Double standards get the hose!
... this list is getting really long and if I keep at it I will seem like an intolerant bitch and I'm really not.
8. What's in your handbag?
- ... uhm, let's see ... wallet, brush, bag-o-tech (cables, flash drive, adapters, earbuds), lipstick, lip balm, mirror, sanitary supplies, kleenex, eyeglass cleaning cloth, eye drops, ambesol, advil, pashmena, gloves, house/car keys, tablet, smart phone, pens, pencil, notepad, hair clips, hair elastics, bobby pins, sewing kit, purse organizer pockets, work identification ... I think that's it. Yes, that's all at the moment. There used to be a bagel in there too, but I ate it.
9. What are your worst habits?
- I tend to be far too hard on myself and I let myself get into funks. I didn't get a review? Clearly my work sucks and I should just stop writing. No one said that they liked my baking? Clearly it was a giant steaming pile of crap ... yeah, I am way too hard on myself and I need to STOP IT!
10. What's your best physical feature?
- I've been told that I have pretty eyes and my hair can be nice when it agrees to not be a rats nest.
