Title: Music Writing Meme
Rating: T
Series: G1
Character(s)/Pairing(s): Listed at the start of each fic-thing
Summary: Put your entire music collection on shuffle, hit play, and write. Write for as long as each song plays and move on to a different writing when the song switches (even if it's mid-sentence). Go for ten songs (or five). If nothing comes, it still counts. If you're listening to a comedian, you can skip it.
Warnings: Some have slash, some have fluff, some have anger and future violence
Disclaimer: Transformers belong to Hasbro and Takara, and are licensed to IDW and Dreamworks. My original characters are my own and any similarity between them and any existing characters from canon or fandom is purely coincidental. I claim no ownership by writing this work.

__wilderness__, though it’s been floating about LJ for a while.
1. Hungry Like the Wolf – Duran Duran - Swindle/Smokescreen
Swindle stood at the edge of the room watching Smokescreen move from table to table. So far the Autobot was completely unaware of his presence, but that would change very quickly. He walked forward, matching his pace to the pulse of the room perfectly, until he came up behind Smokescreen. With one swift motion he slipped his arm around the other’s waist and began to draw him close, making sure the Autobots felt the gun in his hand.
2. Mickey – Toni Basil - Jazz, Blaster, and the cassettes
Jazz bopped his head to the music as the human cheerleaders threw themselves in the air in an incredible aerial display. Who would have ever thought that such small creatures were capable of such movement.
“They really are great aren’t they?” Blaster said appreciatively.
“I’m just amazed they don’t hurt themselves,” Jazz agreed. “I mean, that basket toss is just wicked!”
“Just wait ‘till you see the triple pyramid flip. These girls are the best in America for a reason.”
“Strange sport,” Eject said coming up behind them.
3. Days are numbered – Billy Klipert - Skyfire/Starscream
Skyfire watched Starscream as he fled the battlefield. They had once been partners, mor than co-workers, more than lovers. But then it all changed when he had been frozen here on Earth. Starscream had gone off on his own, joined the Decepticons, and become something that Skyfire didn’t recognize. There was a portion, deep in his mind, that clung to the belief that Starscream was doing all this under duress, that the Decepticons had merely bullied him into becoming the monster he was today … but he knew that wasn’t the case, knew that this was Starscream’s choice … and that knowledge broke him every time he thought of it.
4. Take the “A” Train – Duke Ellington - Jazz, Prowl, Ratchet
Jazz moved smoothly across the dance floor to the “old” human music. This wasn’t his normal scene, but there was something about this old time big bad jazz that just demanded movement. He spied Prowl and Ratchet enter the room and approached them with a wicked grin, never stopping his dance.
“Good evening, Jazz,” Prowl said in greeting.
“Evenin’ Prowl. Mind if I borrow him?” Jazz said taking Ratchet by the hand, and without waiting for an answer, dragged the CMO onto the dance floor.
“Jazz!” Ratchet protested as he tried to pull away. “What are you doing?!”
“Just let me lead and it’ll all come to you!” Jazz replied as he took the medic’s other hand and began to spin him across the floor in a modified Foxtrot.
Ratchet played the unwilling partner, but there was something about Jazz’s enthusiasm that was infectious. Even Prowl was trying to control a smile.
“Come on, Doc! I know you can dance!” Jazz said as he twirled Ratchet away
5. Democracy – Leonard Cohen
The Neutrals stood up in a line against the Decepticon troops.
“This is our home!” the ring leader yelled. “We will not leave!”
“You will,” the Decepticon replied darkly. “You have no other choice. There is no longer any place for your kind in Kaon.”
“No!” the Neutrals cried out in a single voice. “We will not be moved!”
“Then you will be terminated,” the Decepticon replied. “It makes no difference to me.”
As one the Decepticons raised their weapons and shot down the Neutrals. Once the last had been killed and the bodies were being disposed of, a young lieutenant came to stand beside his commander.
“Why did they fight? We offered them a perfect life. Why would they hold on to this broken life of theirs?”
“Neutrals are strange creatures. They are programmed in such a way that they cannot see salvation when it is presented to them.
