I've finally had the opportunity to continue my self-guided drawing course. Today's lesson was intended to show the use of lines in a drawing. After all, when it comes down to it, unless you're Pollack, it all comes down to lines.

I think I did rather well, considering. I still need to work on the hands, since they look rather dreadful. But I can't expect perfection first time out.

Yes, delicate .... I've had it pointed out that hands are a bitch to draw, so I figure it will just take time and practice :)

Also, something to keep in mind is that many artists don't neccessarily try to get things perfect/precise in terms of extremity proportions - they just sorta put their own style into it....(Rob Liefeld being a great example of that).
