wyntir_knightSo, I've been trying my hand at the art classes over on Drawspace.com. The lessons are done by the same woman who did the Drawing for Dummies book I that took lessons from before, but this site has some additional lessons in it as well.
It's a great site for anyone who's interested in taking classes at home. They charge something like 36$ for three months subscription, but all that gets you is the ability to download and print the lessons. Otherwise, they are viewable online. Personally, at this point, I don't mind drawing at my computer desk. That'll probably change if I get more serious, but for the moment, it's all pretty fine.
Anyway, below the cut is the result of lesson C7 (Kira). I am very pleased with this. Now I'll have to see if I can do the same thing without the illustrated instructions in front of me on the screen.
