Day 1
In your own space, talk about your Happy Place—the things that give you joy, calms you or keeps you sane.
( happy place )

Day 2
Rec at least three fanworks that you didn’t create. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it.
I'm reccing two series and one fic that I read last year (or started reading in the case of the series) that I wanted to share with those who may not have seen them.
1. Holmes in the Commonwealth series by kaelma
Fallout 4/Sherlock Holmes. This is more of a fusion than a crossover. The basic idea is that Sherlock Holmes lived in the Commonwealth of the Fallout Universe and becomes the sole survivor of Vault 111. The main works cover the adventures of Holmes through the course of the game's events, while Occurrences covers several of the side stories. If you're a fan of Fallout 4 or a fan of Sherlock Holmes I think you'll like this because kaelma manages to keep everyone very much in character and their storytelling is beautiful.
2. Alt Modes and Alchemy series by pipermca
Transformers: G1 - AU. This is a sort of Medieval Might And Magic kind of story that follows first the adventures of Prince Bluestreak of Praxus as he runs from a home that is no longer his, and then begins to follow the aftermath of those adventures in the later words. There's a lot of beautiful world building, "magic" that makes sense in the TF setting, and some pretty rare Bluestreak/Hound. If you're looking for a really different AU I would suggest this one. It's more than worth the read since pipermca has put a lot of thought into this unusual AU.
3. Wild Peaches by notbecauseofvictories
Labyrinth. This follows Sarah after she leaves the Labyrinth and defeats Jareth. You can't truly leave the Labyrinth after it has touched you. Sarah grows up and is never rid of the Goblin King and his people. .... This fic makes Sarah/Jareth work and it really explores the damage done to Sarah by her encounters in the Goblin Lands. It's beautifully written and manages to be almost surreal in the delivery - perfect for when dealing with fae.

Day 3
In your own space, share a favorite piece of original canon (a TV episode, a song, a favorite interview, a book, a scene from a movie, etc) and explain why you love it so much.
( Follow the cut for this )

Day 4
Comment to someone you haven't ever interacted with before or introduce yourself to someone you've interacted with and friend/follow them.
This was done, but there's very little point in having a separate entry for it.
Day 5
In your own space, promote three communities, challenges, blogs, pages, Twitters, Tumblrs or platforms and explain why you love them.
I'm going to suggest the following:
1. The Magnus Archives is a weekly horror anthology podcast that started out as a kind of a monster of the week kind of thing and became so very much more. It is absolutely wonderful in its Lovecraftian horrorness (is that a word?). And they have the most wonderful Reddit community. If you're interested in Lovecraftian style horror (without all the racism), I definitely suggest these folks.
2. King Falls AM. This is another podcast that started as an anthology series (kind of) and became so very much more. Honestly, it's kind of like if Twin Peaks and Eureka had a baby and that baby was a radio station. And as with The Magnus Archives, King Falls AM has a wonderful and active Reddit community
3. tf_speedwriting. This community is wonderful for writing prompts. Whether you're looking for genuine speedwriting (the comm challenge is 120 minutes) or just prompts in general, they really are wonderful. Every Saturday they post five prompts and those prompts are broad enough that most of them aren't Transformers specific if you're looking for prompts in your own fandom (though, you probably shouldn't post anything non TF).

Day 6
In your own space, create a list of at least three fannish things you'd love to receive, something you've wanted but were afraid to ask for - a fannish wish-list of sorts.
There are very few things that I want because the communities I'm in are really good about having a good variety of content. But here's my list:
1. I feel greedy to ask for it, but I always love seeing my current preferred pairings represented more (Ratchet/Smokescreen, Ratchet/Megatron, Prowl/Red Alert) - in any continuity really.
2. I am just eating up all the Fallout 76 fics out there. There aren't many because the game is relatively new and is unbelievably massive lore-wise. I cannot wait to see more of it as the game ages.
3. Some book recs would be nice. I would love to find more gothic and/or Lovecraftian horror, or some steampunk or urban fantasy stories. Something that's all three together would be fantastic!
